Venue

Perched above Frenchman's Bay where the mountains meet the sea, College of the Atlantic (COA) provides a setting as inspiring as our faculty.  It's  a magical oceanfront venue to "get away from it all," and shed the demands of everyday life -- all as you  immerse yourself in music. with like-minded adults.  A best kept secret, COA is not only the "greenest" college in the United States, it is also one of the "bluest."

Our dorms and classes are located in Kathryn Davis Village, just steps from  the Turrets building (above) and where Deering building is situated (below)l.   Both Turrets and Deering boast a large portch overlooking the Bay which is "ours' by day and night.

Our classrooms and dorms,  in very close proximity to one another,  are a short walk to the dining hall, pier and Gates Auditorium.  Should you need to, or prefer to,, you can drive to the dining hall and concert hall where there is ample parking.

The pier is another fave place to hang with friends, practice,  and even -- should you dare -- go for aquick swim (the water is super cold!)   There is also a rocky 'beach' on campus where you can launch a kayak.
