MAINELY GUITAR WEEK - AUGUST 8-14, 2010

Our 2010 program promises to the best yet! Our stellar faculty includes:

DEL REY, ERNIE HAWKINS, HAPPY TRAUM, JOHN MILLER, MARTIN GROSSWENDT, MIKE DOWLING and SHAWN PERSINGER.

Workshops range from Acoustic Blues, Contemporary Acoustic and Folk/Pop to Swing, Bossa & Samba. Instruction if offered in guitar, bottleneck guitar, mandolin, ukulele and voice.

We've crafted an innovative schedule which will enable students to explore a wide variety of topics in-depth. This year we are introducing two sessions of afternoon "electives" to provide additional opportunities to explore topics of interest, and to interact with other faculty members.

While maximum class size is capped at 12, classes are typically between 8 to 10 students. To facilitate appropriate class placement, we contact each student upon receipt of their pre-registration form.

We take great interest in each student's personal goals. With our enrollment at 45-50 students, our program provides an opportunity for each student to get the attention they need in a supportive and nurturing environment.
