2012 FACULTY ANNOUNCED...

We're looking forward to another magical week: AUGUST 5-11, 2012.

Designed for beginning hobbyists to professional players, our program offers workshops in Acoustic Blues, Contemporary Acoustic, Folk/Pop. Swing and Bossa/Samba. Instruction is offered in guitar, bottleneck guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bass and ukulele -- as well as voice and harmony singing! ! Our schedule is being finalized. In the meantime, please browse the 2011 schedule and course descriptions for a lens into our program!

Our schedule provides opportunities for in-depth workshops which meet daily Monday through Friday, PLUS a great menu of 1-hour "elective" workshops. Electives enable students to check out additional topics of interest and interact with more of our instructors.

There's also a long mid-day break, providing free time to practice, an opportunity to take advantage of the Bar Harbor area -- from biking, hiking and jogging in Acadia National Park, to kayaking off our pier, to checking out what's going on in town.

Evenings will be filled with jams, student concerts, faculty concerts -- and more!

Our small class size (maximum of 12 students), assures the opportunity for personalized instruction. We take great interest in each student's personal goals. With an enrollment of approximately 45 participants, our program provides an opportunity for each student to get the attention they need in a supportive and nurturing environment.
